The investment is in buildings, laboratory equipment, manufacturing lines and people, in the province of Cartago. It is a long term commitment to producing finished medicine in Costa Rica rather than exporting raw material.
Patients at home
We intend to serve Costa Rican patients as soon as the national regulatory framework permits. Until then our work is to build the manufacturing and quality capability that domestic supply would require.
Costa Rica has grown fine agricultural products for the world for a century. Now we can make the medicine here too, with our own people, our own standards and our own documentation.
